An incomplete cast copper-alloy 'miniature' knobbed terret ring probably dating from the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period (c. 100 BC-AD 200). Approximately a third of the ring survives, which is now an irregular-crescent (or C) shape and variably oval or lentoid in cross-section. The base of the ring comprises a rectangular, oval-sectioned horizontal strap bar that is narrower and thinner than the rest of the ring. A worn cast copper-alloy coin weight for the half laurel of James I (AD 1603-1625), Third coinage, dating to the period c. AD 1619-1625. The weight is square in plan and rectangular in cross section. Both the obverse and reverse faces are stamped. The obverse depicts the bust of James I facing left wearing a laurel wreath within a beaded circular boarder. The reverse is inscribed X.s (for 10 shillings), surmounted by a crown within a beaded circular boarder. All surfaces are covered with a patchy green patina.
