An incomplete whetstone of probable early-medieval date (c. AD 800 - 1100). Description: The whetstone is formed from a very fine-grained, sedimentary, mica-rich stone. It is sub-trapezoidal in plan with tapering sides and is trapezoidal in cross section although there is significant post-depositional damage that has changed its profile. Both ends are broken, probably in antiquity. Two sides are flat and smooth. The other sides are damaged. A copper alloy Early Medieval bridle bit link, 46.8mm in length. The object has a complete loop attached to a bar with a sub rounded profile, which is attached to a thickened collar at the base of a second, possibly larger loop on the opposite end, which has broken off. The object is extremely corroded.

A complete or almost complete late Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) c.11th century copper-alloy zoomorphic stirrup terminal. The stirrup terminal is worn but shows moulded zoomorphic features in the form of a stylised animal or beast, possibly a wolf, with a hollow, semi-cylindrical tube which would have joined to the stirrup. An incomplete copper alloy ansate brooch of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) date c. AD700-900. The brooch is double lugged with zoomorphic terminals now very devolved and worn. There is no pin or catchplate on the reverse.

A copper alloy medieval strap-end possibly AD 750-1100 with zoomorphic decoration. The object is probably one half of a two-part piece, the other plate that was once attached by the pins, one of which is still present in part, having been lost in the soil.
