A ceramic vessel of probable Post Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1800. Only half of the base of the vessel survives. The fabric is very hard and vitrified, probably a stoneware, with a fine texture and frequent small black inclusions in the buff coloured matrix. The diameter of the base would have been about 90mm. The walls are broken just after they start to flare outwards. The inside of the vessel contains some vitrified material, perhaps glaze or glass which is crazed and angular. A copper alloy probably Post Medieval to Modern furniture fitting; part of a bowed drop handle from a drawer. Only one end survives. It has a short cylindrical pin which would have been held in a handle attachment lug, and then a wider swan-necked curved handle, broken at the base of the side of the handle. An incomplete lead-alloy kosher seal of Post-Medieval to modern date, c.AD 1650 - 2000. The seal comprises a disc with integral connecting strip projecting slightly from one edge. The strip terminates in a worn break. Both sides of the seal have raised Hebrew lettering with the Star of David. The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn. The seal is 17.1mm in diameter, 2.9mm thick and weighs 3.9g. A similar example has been recorded as BUC-C6A87C.

A small lead musket ball dating from the post-medieval period, about AD 1600 - 1900. The casting sprue remains and also part of the casting seam. There is an eruption on one side of the ball, suggesting that a small bubble may have formed during casting. The ball has a light grey patina. It is 13mm in diameter (including casting sprue) and weighs 8.6g, suggesting that it was intended for use in a pistol. A complete lead-alloy bag seal of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1750 - 1900. The seal is roughly tear drop shaped with a rectangular cross section. The front is decorated with a stamped design of the crowned Dutch shield bearing the rampant lion of Holland framed within a border of raised pellets. The reverse is stamped with "R&A" which stands for Regten en Accynsen (Customs and Excise) over the control number "456". The metal has a light brown patina and is in fair condition. The seal is 22.3mm long, 17.8mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 9.5g.
