Incomplete copepr alloy object, probably part of a Roman bracelet, possibly part of a Trumpet brooch. The remaining section is sub-oval in cross section with a shallowly convex back and convex front and slightly curved in profile. At one end is an old, irregular break. At the other the piece thins abruptly to a flat plate broadly of the same width or slightly wider than the main section, stepped down from the thickness of the main section at the front and back. A fragment of the front plate of a post-medieval copper alloy book clasp, probably dating to c. 1500-1650. The fragment is rectangular in plan, with one end (the strap attachment end) which is flared and has four triangular indentations. One of the tips of this flared edge is missing due to an old break. A domed, gilded, cast copper alloy object, possibly a dagger or knife pommel of probable medieval or early post-medieval date, about AD1300 - 1700.
