A Roman Copper alloy developed T-Shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The surviving fragment comprises of the head of the brooch only. The brooch features a large semi-circular headplate with a concave reverse. Cylindrical wings project from the base of the reverse of the head, holding a copper alloy axis bar in situ, and with a central rectangular slot accomodating a hinged pin, now lost. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The surviving section comprises of the upper bow and headplate, the lower bow and pin being lost. The head of the brooch expands into a D-shaped headplate with the vestigial remains of an integral headloop at its apex. A near complete Roman copper alloy hinged Hod Hill brooch, missing only its pin, probably dating to c. AD 43-75. The head of the brooch consists of a sub-rectangular plate rolled over itself to form the wings with a central rectangular slot cut to accommodate a hinged pin; both the pin and axis bar are now lost.
