An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1720 - 1790. Only a loop chape remains. The chape is trapezoidal with two tubular hinges for the spindle and two internal spikes to the longer end. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The chape is 46.6mm long, 31.8mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 7.5g. A similar chape is illustrated in Whitehead, p.103, no.VIII. The weight is square in plan and rectangular in section and is engraved on both sides with the traditional symbol for the apothecary's unit of measure 2 drachms. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1450 -1550. The buckle is a single looped D-shape with a narrowed and recessed strap bar. Lobed knops are present to either end of the bar and the outer loop of the frame is decorated with a series of transverse grooves resulting in a rope-work appearance. The pin no longer remains. The strip terminates in a worn break. Both sides of the seal have raised Hebrew lettering with the Star of David. The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn. The seal is 17.1mm in diameter, 2.9mm thick and weighs 3.9g. A similar example has been recorded as BUC-C6A87C.

A complete lead-alloy bag seal of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1750 - 1900. The seal is roughly tear drop shaped with a rectangular cross section. The front is decorated with a stamped design of the crowned Dutch shield bearing the rampant lion of Holland framed within a border of raised pellets. The reverse is stamped with "R&A" which stands for Regten en Accynsen (Customs and Excise) over the control number "456". The metal has a light brown patina and is in fair condition. The seal is 22.3mm long, 17.8mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 9.5g.

The seal is comprised of a single disc of metal which is perforated by holes running across its diameter which would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag.
