A complete copper alloy Furniture Mount of Post Medieval date (1600-1800 AD). The mount is most likely the back plate for a drawer or cupboard handle. The object is a flat circular disk with an integral raised decorative pattern. The object has a single central sub-ovate aperture which is worn. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The surviving section comprises of the upper bow and head, the lower bow and majority of the pin being lost. At the head of the brooch the cylindrical wings survive to a width of 30.4mm; c. 4.0mm in diameter. These have a central rectangualr slot cut into the reverse, and hold a copper alloy axis bar and incomplete pin in situ.
