An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, circa AD 1550 - 1650. The buckle is a double looped oval with moulded decoration. Just over half of the buckle has been lost to worn breaks. Trilobed, trefoil mouldings are present to the surviving loop and bar terminal. The reverse is flat and undecorated and the pin no longer remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. An incomplete lead-alloy papal bulla of Pope Alexander IV dating to the medieval period. Pope Alexander IV reigned from 12 December 1254 to his death in 1261. Approximately one third of the bulla has been lost to a worn break, possibly as a result of breaking the seal. The obverse of the bulla is stamped with the faces of saints Peter and Paul within a border of raised pellets. The front is decorated with a stamped design of the crowned Dutch shield bearing the rampant lion of Holland framed within a border of raised pellets. The reverse is stamped with "R&A" which stands for Regten en Accynsen (Customs and Excise) over the control number "456". The metal has a light brown patina and is in fair condition.
