A Roman silver denarius, now worn but probably of the first or second century. A portrait outline and the remains of a legend are clearly visible on the obverse, and a standing figure is present on the reverse. Obverse:- Head of emperor or empress facing right, legend [...] around. Reverse:- Standing figure facing left. Legend '[...]' around.

A Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. The stem swells from an egg shaped knop at the distal end to a classic dolphin-back, marked at its zenith with a small convex oval stud. Four converging tracks of sunken beading, two of which circle the inside of the bar, proceed from the zenith down to curl around and under. the right side of the bars now broken. iron oxide staining inside the hinge point may indicate the remains of the bar are still present within the hinge. width across head excluding bar:- 12mm thinnest width of stem:- 4 mm

A copper alloy medieval strap-end possibly AD 750-1100 with zoomorphic decoration. The object is probably one half of a two-part piece, the other plate that was once attached by the pins, one of which is still present in part, having been lost in the soil. The strap-end is lanceolate and divided into three sections, each of which has a distinct enclosed decoration. the tip appears to be a compressed zoomorphic head, and is pierced through slightly to the left of centre. the middle section resembles a top-down view of a crawling insect or beetle, though this is possibly due to corro…

A possible clapper from a small bell. Cast in copper-alloy, the object features a candy twist shaft connecting a thin suspension loop to an egg shaped weighted end, the bottom of which appears to have a crudely radial star-shaped design.
