An incomplete late early-medieval cast copper-alloy harness link (c. 11th century AD). Description: Incomplete Roman gold finger ring of keeled type. It has a plain, flat circular bezel with the shoulders tapering to either side. Both shoulders are flat and have moulded scrollwork decoration. At the tip of each shoulder the loop becomes D-shaped in cross-section, decorated on either side with three radiating lines. The loop terminates in an old break on either side. One long edge is squashed and abraded.

An almost complete, but damaged, medieval copper-alloy strap-end dating to c. 1275 to 1400. The strap-end consists of two pieces of copper-alloy sheet forming front and back plates. The sheets are long and trapezoidal; they end in a rounded lobe and then a trefoil- or cross-like shape. These last two terminal elements are separated from each other and from the main body of the strap end by a narrowed waist.

Five fragments of a gilded silver sword pommel, an addendum to 2017T954 (NMS-1E4D05). The fragments (nos. 1 to 5) comprise two fragments of openwork arching arms (nos. 1-2) and three fragments from the body of the fitting (nos. 3-5). None of the fragments join each other, but may join the rest of the artefact recorded at NMS-1E4D05 (2017T954); further research is ongoing at Norwich Castle Museum, which has acquired all the fragments.

Description: Post-medieval silver cuff link element. A circular disc with a down-turned edge, now bent out of shape in places. The obverse exhibits a stamped repoussé design of two hearts surmounted by a crown on a stippled background (Lewis 2013, Type A). The reverse of the disc exhibits an integrally cast attachment loop. A small section of the silver wire connecting loop terminates in an old break at either end.
Dimensions: Diameter 11.5mm, thickness (including loop) 4.5mm, weight 0.4g. Length of connecting loop 12.5mm, diameter 1.2mm, weight 0.1g, so total weight 0.5g.

Description: Incomplete post-medieval gilded silver pin. It has a globular head, now squashed to a flattish shape and therefore originally hollow. There is a pellet at the apex, and the head is divided into two hemispheres by two circumferential rows of filigree (twisted) wire around the widest point. Each hemisphere is decorated with a series of oval loops of filigree (from the photograph, they appear to be drop-shaped with the ends of the wires not perhaps meeting). Description: A complete Late Bronze Age gold penannular ring (c.1150 – 800 cal BC). The ring is made of gold bar that is circular in cross-section. This has been bent into an approximately circular loop with a small gap between two terminals. The terminals are flat and one has a small knick in the end. The ring is plain and smooth all over. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval buckle plate probably dating from the late 12th to 13th century (c. 1150-1300). The frame is missing, being broken at the hinge loops, while two of the prong-like extensions at the attachment end of the plate are vestigial, and a third has broken through at its attachment hole.

A copper-alloy medieval single-looped oval frame dating to c. 1250-1400. On its outer edge there are two shallow, angled knops flanking three transverse grooves; the example can be classified as being of Meols type 8. The bar is narrowed, recessed and offset. The pin is missing; the central groove on the outer edge would have acted as a pin rest.
The buckle measures 14.02 mm in length, 15.20 mm in width and weighs 0.87 g.
A similar example can be found in Whitehead (2003, 22) no. 92.

A complete medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (strap-fitting). The frame is five sided with a wide flat base, sides that are almost parallel but in fact slope outwards very slightly, and an angled peak in the centre of the top bar. The base is rectangular in cross section and the sides and top bar are trapeziodal, the inner sides being wider than the outer. There is a hole through the base of the frame, halfway along and off centre, through which a circular-sectioned rivet projects internally.
