Description: A complete Late Bronze Age gold penannular ring (c.1150 – 800 cal BC). The ring is made of gold bar that is circular in cross-section. This has been bent into an approximately circular loop with a small gap between two terminals. The terminals are flat and one has a small knick in the end. The ring is plain and smooth all over. Description: An incomplete Early Medieval silver strap-end dating to c. AD 750-950. The strap-end is tongue-shaped with a pointed terminal. The plate tapers inwards from a 14.8 mm to 8.6 mm in width before it terminates to a point. The top of the plate is rectangular and has one central rivet hole with a diameter of 3.2 mm. There are some incised lines around the rivet hole, but these are worn, and it is uncertain if this is part of the decoration of the strap-end or lines caused by wear and damage. An elaborate silver head from a Roman hair pin, 21.1mm in length. The form from the base to the tip comprises a conical lower collar, a flattened biconical reel, a large flattened sphere, a large double disc at the midpoint (diameter 9.2mm), a waisted reel, a smaller waisted reel and a conical or pointed acorn-shaped tip. The shaft is broken off at the base of the head. There is damage to the upper section in the form of a pronounced cut which has bent and nearly severed the tip of the pin head. Length 21.1mm, diameter (at widest part) 9.2mm, weight 3.59g.

A copper-alloy post-medieval double-looped rectangular buckle frame dating to c. 1570-1700. The frame is plain with a notch for the pin at one end, though the pin itself is missing. It has slightly rounded corners. The object has a green patina. The buckle measures 28.50 mm in length, 24.26 mm in width and weighs 6.49 g. A similar example can be found illustrated in Whitehead (2003, 75) no. 459 and given the above date range, though without supporting evidence.
