An incomplete cast copper-alloy zoomorphic unidentified object of probable late Iron Age or early Roman date, c. 100 BC-AD 100. The object takes the form of a boar's head, being hollow and thus effectively socketed. Demonstrating a broadly circular section, it consists a straight shaft or neck that extends upwards before transitioning into the head of the animal, which is presented open-mouthed with large projecting elongated ears, raised circular eyes with a central recess and a tapering lipped snout. A complete copper alloy toggle of Iron Age to Early-Roman date (200 BC - AD 100). The object is a bar-shaped toggle. The toggle has a swollen central section, oval in plan and section with flat top and bottom sides due to rectangular hole passing through the centre from top to bottom. The central section. The hole shows signs of use wear with one side being slightly distorted. To either side of the central section are circular sectioned projections ending in flattened knops. The projections are waisted (narrowed).

A copper-alloy thimble of early post-medieval date.
Description: The thimble has a tapered body, pointed crown and manually-punched, rectangular pits. The pits on both the body and the crown of the thimble are in a right-hand spiral pattern. The pits on the body begin about one quarter of the way up from the base. Between the pits and the base there is a circumferential groove above a decorated band. The decoration on the band is a pattern of repeated, facing half-annulets.

Five fragments of a gilded silver sword pommel, an addendum to 2017T954 (NMS-1E4D05). The fragments (nos. 1 to 5) comprise two fragments of openwork arching arms (nos. 1-2) and three fragments from the body of the fitting (nos. 3-5). None of the fragments join each other, but may join the rest of the artefact recorded at NMS-1E4D05 (2017T954); further research is ongoing at Norwich Castle Museum, which has acquired all the fragments.

An incomplete copper alloy Sword belt Strap Fitting of Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1700). The object is the partial hooked plate. The plate is sub triangular in plan, with a transverse break across the middle of the plate, resulting in the loss of the hooked component. The opposing end has a rounded, perforated terminal to secure the object to a strap with a rivet.

A complete medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (strap-fitting). The frame is oval to D-shaped, with an integral circular sectioned rivet projecting outwards 2.2mm from the centre of the base, now bent slightly to one side. The sides of the frame are rectangular in cross section, becoming slightly D-shaped on the outer edge, probably due to wear.
The frame is 14.6 mm wide, 12.2 mm long including the rivet and 2.4 mm thick, it weighs 0.87 g. There are extensive file marks on all faces.

A complete medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (strap-fitting). The frame is five sided with a wide flat base, sides that are almost parallel but in fact slope outwards very slightly, and an angled peak in the centre of the top bar. The base is rectangular in cross section and the sides and top bar are trapeziodal, the inner sides being wider than the outer. There is a hole through the base of the frame, halfway along and off centre, through which a circular-sectioned rivet projects internally.

A complete copper-alloy strap fitting of medieval date, circa AD 1150 - 1450. The fitting comprises an ovate frame with a large single collared knop extending to the outer curved edge. The opposite edge is flattened, narrowed and recessed to form a bar.
The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The fitting is 19.8mm long, 13.3mm wide, 5.3mm thick and weighs 1.9g.
A similar fitting is illustrated in Egan and Pritchard, p.221, fig.138, no.1192 and is described as a pendant loop which would have been suspended from a bar mount.

Description: An incomplete Early Medieval silver strap-end dating to c. AD 750-950. The strap-end is tongue-shaped with a pointed terminal. The plate tapers inwards from a 14.8 mm to 8.6 mm in width before it terminates to a point. The top of the plate is rectangular and has one central rivet hole with a diameter of 3.2 mm. There are some incised lines around the rivet hole, but these are worn, and it is uncertain if this is part of the decoration of the strap-end or lines caused by wear and damage.
