One possible lead alloy musket shot / ball of post medieval 1600-1800 date. The ball has lost its spherical shape and possesses a relatively even surface on one half of the shot. The other has a large curving surface created by an impact from collision, as a consequence the ball resembles a crescent shape. The shot has a casting seam and spurs from the mould removed.
