Description: Incomplete Roman gold finger ring of keeled type. It has a plain, flat circular bezel with the shoulders tapering to either side. Both shoulders are flat and have moulded scrollwork decoration. At the tip of each shoulder the loop becomes D-shaped in cross-section, decorated on either side with three radiating lines. The loop terminates in an old break on either side. One long edge is squashed and abraded.
Dimensions: Length (bent) 31mm, maximum width 8.5mm, minimum width 2mm, maximum thickness 2.5mm, minimum thickness 0.9mm, weight 3.8g.
