A complete copper alloy Amulet, of Roman date (AD 43-410). The object depicts a bird with folded wings standing on a phallus with the bird pecking at the phallus. The bird is small with a single ovate spur attaching it to the lower component of the amulet, this also forms the legs. The body of the bird is solid and ovate with a tapering pointed tail and a rounded head. One eye remains, which is an incised ovate. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval single-looped buckle of composite type with forked spacer dating to c. 1350 - 1450. The buckle is oval, lipped and notched and the pin is in place. One of the forked spacers has broken off close to the frame but the other is intact, albeit now bent outwards. The front of the frame is bevelled externally; the reverse is flat and covered in transverse file marks. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy button dating from the 19th century. The obverse of the button bears the family creast of the Wolf family featuring a demi wolf rampant with lozenge between paws. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Headstud Type, dating to AD 75-250. It is the head and the upper part of the bow of the brooch. The head consists of two cylindrical wings, which still house the copper-alloy bar; the central slot on the back face retains a fragment of the hinged pin-loop. The top of the head has fragments of the chain loop. The bow has a sub-rectangular cross-section and bears a stud on the front face; the stud is heavily worn. A complete copper alloy Pin of Roman date (AD 43-410). The object is composed of a square head with an integral sub-circular shaft which is waisted below the head. The shaft expands below the waisted portion and tapers in towards the pointed tip. There is no indication of decoration. Length: 62.52mm, Width: 5.58mm, Thickness: 5.56mm, Thickness (head): 8.08mm, Weight: 8.2g. The metal has a mid-green pitted patina. A complete medieval cast copper-alloy strap-slide (strap-fitting). The frame is oval to D-shaped, with an integral circular sectioned rivet projecting outwards 2.2mm from the centre of the base, now bent slightly to one side. The sides of the frame are rectangular in cross section, becoming slightly D-shaped on the outer edge, probably due to wear. The frame is 14.6 mm wide, 12.2 mm long including the rivet and 2.4 mm thick, it weighs 0.87 g. There are extensive file marks on all faces.
