An incomplete, distorted, pierced and worn coin of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1489 - 1660. The coin is extremely worn rendering most diagnostic detail illegible. Traces of a border with text can be determined suggestive of a Post-Medieval date. An incomplete lead-alloy papal bulla of Pope Alexander IV dating to the medieval period. Pope Alexander IV reigned from 12 December 1254 to his death in 1261. Approximately one third of the bulla has been lost to a worn break, possibly as a result of breaking the seal. The obverse of the bulla is stamped with the faces of saints Peter and Paul within a border of raised pellets. Above the heads within the border, the saints' abbreviations would be present; 'SPA' for St. Paul to the left and 'SPE' for St. Peter to the right. The pin is composed of a folded circular sectioned wire, the tip of which is missing due to an old break. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The surviving section comprises of the upper bow and head, the lower bow and majority of the pin being lost. At the head of the brooch the cylindrical wings survive to a width of 30.4mm; c. 4.0mm in diameter. These have a central rectangualr slot cut into the reverse, and hold a copper alloy axis bar and incomplete pin in situ.
