A complete lead-alloy bag seal of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1804 - 1968. The seal is circular in plan with a rectangular cross section and is comprised of a single disc of metal which is perforated by a hole running across its diameter. The hole would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag. The front has a stamped design featuring a circumferential border of raised pellets within which is the text "Carter" in flowing italics. A complete copper-alloy Annular Ring of Bronze Age date (1000-800 BC). The object is circular, with a sub-circular interior, which measures approximately 16.85mm in diameter. It is covered with dark brown patina and is very smooth and shiny apart from several small areas of corrosion. Similar objects have been found in hoards with socketed axes, such as they example of Balmashanner Fort, Angus (Schmidt & Burgess 1981, plate 152), and YORYM-15AA2D TREASURE CASE : 2014 T442 and LANCUM-6F9525 TREASURE CASE : 2010 T227 Diameter: 30.56mm, Thickness: 7.15mm, Weight: 21.7g.

An elaborate silver head from a Roman hair pin, 21.1mm in length. The form from the base to the tip comprises a conical lower collar, a flattened biconical reel, a large flattened sphere, a large double disc at the midpoint (diameter 9.2mm), a waisted reel, a smaller waisted reel and a conical or pointed acorn-shaped tip. The shaft is broken off at the base of the head. There is damage to the upper section in the form of a pronounced cut which has bent and nearly severed the tip of the pin head. Length 21.1mm, diameter (at widest part) 9.2mm, weight 3.59g.

A complete copper alloy Pin of Roman date (AD 43-410). The object is composed of a square head with an integral sub-circular shaft which is waisted below the head. The shaft expands below the waisted portion and tapers in towards the pointed tip. There is no indication of decoration. Description: Incomplete post-medieval gilded silver pin. It has a globular head, now squashed to a flattish shape and therefore originally hollow. There is a pellet at the apex, and the head is divided into two hemispheres by two circumferential rows of filigree (twisted) wire around the widest point.
