On its outer edge there are two shallow, angled knops flanking three transverse grooves; the example can be classified as being of Meols type 8. The bar is narrowed, recessed and offset. A complete copper-alloy Annular Ring of Bronze Age date (1000-800 BC). The object is circular, with a sub-circular interior, which measures approximately 16.85mm in diameter. It is covered with dark brown patina and is very smooth and shiny apart from several small areas of corrosion. Similar objects have been found in hoards with socketed axes, such as they example of Balmashanner Fort, Angus (Schmidt & Burgess 1981, plate 152), and YORYM-15AA2D TREASURE CASE : 2014 T442 and LANCUM-6F9525 TREASURE CASE : 2010 T227 Diameter: 30.56mm, Thickness: 7.15mm, Weight: 21.7g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Colchester Derivative Double lug Type, dating to AD 43-100. It consists of the head and a short part of the upper bow of the brooch. The head has two semi-circular cross-sectioned wings which house the spring mechanism still in place; unfortunately, the pin is missing. A copper-alloy post-medieval double-looped rectangular buckle frame dating to c. 1570-1700. The frame is plain with a notch for the pin at one end, though the pin itself is missing. It has slightly rounded corners. The object has a green patina. The buckle measures 28.50 mm in length, 24.26 mm in width and weighs 6.49 g. A similar example can be found illustrated in Whitehead (2003, 75) no. 459 and given the above date range, though without supporting evidence.
