An incomplete, distorted, pierced and worn coin of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1489 - 1660. The coin is extremely worn rendering most diagnostic detail illegible. Traces of a border with text can be determined suggestive of a Post-Medieval date. The coin is 18.6mm in diameter and weighs 1g which is approximately consistent with the dimensions for the threepence issued under Elizabeth I.
