A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman finger ring, dating to 300-400. Only the recessed setting for the bezel and fragments of the shoulders survive. The setting is circular in plan while the shoulders are formed by two waisted elements, which end with a transverse raised ridge. Tha back face is plain. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Headstud Type, dating to AD 75-250. It is the head and the upper part of the bow of the brooch. The head consists of two cylindrical wings, which still house the copper-alloy bar; the central slot on the back face retains a fragment of the hinged pin-loop. The top of the head has fragments of the chain loop. The bow has a sub-rectangular cross-section and bears a stud on the front face; the stud is heavily worn. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Colchester Derivative Hinged Type, dating to AD 43-120. The head is very damaged and incomplete having only one wing left, which is cylindrical and still houses a fragment of the copper-alloy pin bar. The bow has a D-shaped cross-section and tapers towards the foot. The front face of the upper bow has a series of radial grooves starting where the head meets the bow and run down for 12.15 mm; below that the surface is pitted and worn. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of the Colchester Derivative Double lug Type, dating to AD 43-100. It consists of the head and a short part of the upper bow of the brooch. The head has two semi-circular cross-sectioned wings which house the spring mechanism still in place; unfortunately, the pin is missing. It has two sub-cylindrical wings, which are slightly open along the longitudinal median line on the back face; they house a copper-alloy bar and there is a slot on the back for the missing pin. An incomplete cast copper-alloy socketed spearhead dating to the Middle Bronze Age, c. 1550-1250 BC. This example is of Davis' Group 6-'Developed side looped spearheads', probably belonging to the Acton Park or Taunton metalworking phases. The base of the socket is missing along with the edge of one blade wing, but otherwise the spearhead is preserved intact. An incomplete cast copper-alloy zoomorphic unidentified object of probable late Iron Age or early Roman date, c. 100 BC-AD 100. The object takes the form of a boar's head, being hollow and thus effectively socketed.
