An incomplete, worn and possibly clipped Medieval silver penny of Henry VI (1422-1461), minted at York. Rosette-Mascle issue, 1430-1431 (North 1991: 76, ref: 1451ii). Initial mark: illegible. Obverse: [hENRICV]S (saltire) REX (mascle) ANG[ ]; Crowned bust facing with a bifoliate crown, saltires by hair.
