Copper alloy buckle. An unusually large cast double looped buckle frame of concavo-convex sub-rectangular form with a central strap bar set back from the rest of the frame. The frame itself is expanded and pointed at either end, and with three rounded lobes along its upper and lower edges. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1550-1650. Length: 95.3mm, Height: 72.3mm, Thickness (of casting, not its protrusion]: 1.7mm, Weight: 57.48gms
