A large cast copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch, incomplete and now in two refitting pieces. The brooch has wide arms with a C-shaped section, end caps and a double lug on the head / within the spring casing. The spring and pin are missing. The head of the brooch is comma-shaped in profile and has a faint, short mid-rib near the top. There are two semi-circular mouldings at the juntion of the wings and bow and a diagonal line on each of the wings. An incomplete lead-alloy Medieval seal matrix, dating to AD 1250-1350. It is circular in plan and bears a D-shaped lug on its back; the lug has a circular hole. The die has a cast central motif depicting a basic swirl consisting of a central dot, which is surrounded by six short crescent-shaped elements; the legend around the swirl reads [S' R]ICARD MAROIN ("Seal of Richard Maroin"). The seal matrix is damaged on the edge, missing a small portion close to the lug.

Post Medieval silver cufflink, 15mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighing 0.73g.
The object is circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section, with a turned down and slightly flared edge. Its upper surface is decorated with a stamped from the reverse design, which consists of two raised hearts in a mottled field with a crown above (Lewis Form 1, Type A).The design is enclosed within a circumferential band of raised rectangles flanked by a solid linear border. The reverse has a now broken circular shaped and cross sectioned loop, which has been soldered on.
