GLO[RI]-A EXER-CITVS reverse type depicting Two soldiers standing either side of one standard. Mint of Trier. As RIC VIII, p. 144, no. 102. Coin has two small pieces of its edge missing, at 8 and 11 o'clock.

Copper-alloy repair patch or folded 'paperclip' type rivet from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. It is folded from a lozenge shaped copper alloy sheet and was used to repair small splits in copper alloy vessels. The patch has an even dark green patina. Egan gives a broad date range for this type of pot mend, dating from the Early Medieval to Post Medieval periods ( Material Culture in London in an Age of Transition, page 101) but also suggests a central usage period from about the late 15th to the mid to late 16th Centuries. Broken copper-alloy double-oval loop buckle. The frame is decorated on the front face with a leaf-like moulded pattern over which there are substantial remains of gilding. The cross section is sub-rectangular. The strap bar is slightly narrowed with end stubs projecting just beyond the sides of the frame. The pin survives intact. Copper alloy fragment probably one half of a laterally folded Medieval composite buckle plate. The fragment consists of a thin trapezoidal sheet broken laterally across the narrow end. The corners of the unbroken end are rounded with a large rivet hole in each, One hole has the rivet and rove extant and suggests the original thickness, including strap and second side of the plate, was approximately 6mm. A probable Roman copper alloy furniture fitting, dating to c. AD 43-410. The fitting consists of a plano-convex knop, with a narrowed, waisted projection expanding from the base. There are traces of iron corrosion affixed to the base of the projection. The knop is undecorated except for a slightly obliquely angled incised circumferencial collar around the the base. An incomplete Lead alloy object of probable Post-Medieval or Modern date, c. AD 1700-1900. The object is C-shaped in plan, with original internal and external edges, but terminating in old breaks at either end. Towards one end the fragment expands in width and tapers in thickness, and is probably almost complete. It is triangular in cross section, with a beveled exterior edge.
