Medieval gilt copper alloy square harness mount for the suspension of a pendant, a hollow-backed four-sided pyramid with a very narrow basal flange, a central rivet hole (rivet missing) and bifurcated loop folded backwards around a spindle from which a fragment of a pendant is suspended. Slight traces of gilding remain. The form compares with that of BH-165342. See NMS-B25222 for a list of other Norfolk examples. Width 14.7mm. Length or height, excluding pendant, 23mm. Thickness or height (i.e. of pyramid) 6.8mm. 12th century.
