An incomplete copper alloy finger ring of Roman date, c.AD 43-410. Only the bezel and the shoulders remain with the rest of the hoop missing. The bezel is oval in plan and rectangular in profile with an oval setting, recessed within a raised collar to take glass or a stone but not an intaglio, due to its size. The shoulders abut the bezel with concave sections before expanding to convex ridges and then tapering in width towards the broken edges. The size of the ring suggests that it would have been worn by a child or an adult with small fingers. The fragment measures 16.8 mm in length…

An incomplete stamped gold Roman apotropaic amulet, possibly dating to the 2nd century AD.
Description: The amulet is formed from two stamped gold foil discs folded together the apex has a small tear likely where the amulet's now missing suspension loop was placed. The discs have been embossed in a repoussé style. The design consists of a central heavily lidded (evil/all suffering) eye surrounded by numerous protective symbols aligned radially and to attack the eye.
