A rim sherd of wheel-thrown green glazed ware pottery dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). The sherd, probably from a jug, is roughly cylindrical in shape and circular in cross-section. The core fabric is brown/grey in colour with few inclusions, while the outer surface has a mid to olive green patchy green glaze. One side of the fragment, probably the exterior surface, is recessed and decorated with a line of eight circular indentations within a single lined boarder either side of the upper and lower lip.
