Lead spindle whorl. Cast cylindrical whorl with a central moulded aperture of diameter 9.5mm, cf. Walton Rogers form B. One side has a series of eight wedge-shaped cut-outs removed from one face - whether on the master from which it was cast or as a modification of a plain whorl is uncertain, though the former would obviously be easier. There is no visible decoration.
The object is 42.9mm long, 8.2mm wide, 6.7mm at the thickest part and 5.5mm at the thinest. It weighs 7.14g.
