The front of the mount has a moulded design consisting of a rounded flower head. There is a leaf at each side and a stalk below. A complete copper-alloy seal matrix of medieval date, c.AD 1300 - 1400. The die of the matrix is circular with a tapering hexagonally faceted handle extending from the reverse. The handle terminates in an oval-shaped terminal with central perforation which would have served as a suspension loop. The die itself carries a central motif depicting three figures, one seated. This is surrounded by a legend which reads in French '+DAME AIET MERSI DE MOI ' which translates to 'Lady (Mother) of god be merciful of me'. Unusually there appears to be no initial mark. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Post Medieval (c. 1500-1700) cast round (crotal) bell. Description: The bell comprises two hemispherical domes divided horizontally by a circumferential ridge. The upper hemisphere has two circular sound holes. A relatively large suspension loop projects from the apex of the upper dome, with drilled cast hole. The lower hemisphere has a long, wide sound slit with circular holes at the ends. On one side of the sound slit is the initials 'AS' in a semi-circle.
