A silver medieval penny of Edward IV's first or second reign. Dating from 1464-1476. Mint of York. Quite worn and clipped. The coin has also been pierced. Probably G and key by bust. Initial mark unclear but could be a rose.
Obverse: Crowned bust facing. G and Key by bust. Legend illegible.
Reverse: Long cross dividing legend. Quaterfoil in centre of cross. 3 pellets in each quadrant.
