A copper-alloy fragment of a Post Medieval pair of dividers dating to AD 1500-1600. It is a sub-rectangular bar in plan with a triangular cross-section at one end and in the middle; on the other end it has a trapezoidal cross-section. The bar is faceted and it is slightly curved in the middle. The trapezoidal end has the remains of probably two lugs; the triangular end has traces of iron corrosion products.
Such dividers comprised two hinged arms; the upper section is copper alloy while the lower arms are iron; here only one upper section survives, broken at both ends. Cf PAS-8CD18…

An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval buckle, dating to AD 1000-1200. It is a D-shaped buckle frame with a roughly pointed oval cross-section. Where the frame meets the bar there is a moulded zoomorphic head, at either ends. The bar is slightly narrowed and it is worn in its middle due to the friction of missing pin. The surfaces are heavily worn.
Cf Meols (2007, p. 72, pl. 8, no. 312). Cf with YORYM-2A2729, LEIC-28E2E8 on the PAS database. The animal heads are distinctively 'Scandinavian' in character.

An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval composite strap-end, dating to AD 1270-1400. It is a narrow sub-rectangular sheet of metal, which is broken towards the attachment end. The opposite end slightly tapers and terminates in a central rounded knob; one edge of the latter end is broken through the rivet hole. The faces are undecorated and the sheet is slightly bent in the middle.

A copper-alloy fragment of a Roman harness pendant, dating to AD 200-300. The surviving frame has a crescent shape with a tapering protrusion at the middle of its inner edge; both ends of the frame are forked and broken. The frame must have had an openwork decoration. The back face of the frame has two symmetrical integral rivets. In the middle part of the outer edge of the frame there are two parallel pierced lugs set at right angle to the frame itself.
