A complete lead alloy possible spindle whorl of Unknown date (c. AD 43-c. 1800). The spindle whorl is sub-circular and is hemi-spherical, domed at the top and flat on the underside. A central hole has parallel sides and is 5.0mm in diameter. This spindle whorl has a coarse surface and is greyish buff. Length: 19.4mm; width: 16.3mm; thickness: 7.2mm. Weight: 11.09g. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval or post-Medieval.

A complete possible bead of uncertain date, Roman to Post Medieval, about AD 43 - 1900. The bead is an irregular rounded shape with a slightly narrower rounded top and flat bottom. The sides of the bead are flattened in panels, making it a rounded square shape in cross section from above. a circular perforation runs through the centre of the bead, it measures 2.7mm in diameter. The bead is possibly made of natural stone, and is an orange brown colour. The surface of the bead is porous. It measures 11.2mm in height, 14.1mm in width, and weighs 2.39g.

An incomplete copper-alloy penannular brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43-350). This brooch is probably Fowler Type A3 and Mackreth Type k3.a or k3.b. The brooch is an incomplete sub-ovoid ring in plan and is sub-ovoid in section, which thins towards the centre of the 'C' shape and is widest at the terminals. Both terminals are undecorated and are sub-spherical knobs with a flattened side which faces the gap. There are double ribbed mouldings where the globular terminals meet the body of the brooch on each side. The moulding nearest the terminal is thicker than the other. …

Fragment of a copper-alloy and enamel inlaid Roman plate brooch of zoomorphic design. Dating from c. AD 50 - 300. The brooch face is flat and takes the form of a hare or hound leaping to the right. The rear portion of the brooch is missing, as are the ears and front feet of the animal, making it particularly difficult to say whether it is a hare or hound. The snub nose however, would suggest that the animal is more likely to be a hare.
