A worn Medieval silver voided long-cross cut half-penny of Henry III (1216-1272), Minted at Canterbury by Nicole, between 1248-1250. Class 3 possibly variety D2, North (1994) No.988/1. Measurements: 17.24mm long (remaining diameter, slightly distorted due to post-depositional edge folding) 8.12mm wide, 0.89mm thick (not including folding, which is too delicate to measure) and 0.59g in weight.

A medieval (1250-1450) copper alloy composite strap-end, with a front and back plate and a forked spacer between. The strap-end is parallel sided with a trefoil knop at the closed end. The spacer plate is c.3/4 of the length of the front and back plates, from the trefoil knop and stopping short of the open end. The space between the front and back plates here contains organic matter, probably from the original strap. Traces of a single rivet are evident at the centre of both ends. An Early Bronze Age (2350 - 2050 BC) small, perhaps miniature, copper alloy flat axehead of type Migdale. It is triangular in shape with expanding sides (perhaps slightly concave) and a convex cutting edge. The butt end is also rounded. In long profile, the axehead has a lenticular cross-section. This is also visible at the cutting edge, but the cross-section at the butt end appears rectangular, the sides being higher. A copper alloy fragment, 31.5mm in length. One end is rounded with a central rivet attaching it to a copper alloy sheet fragment. The other is a flared bifircated terminal with deeply moulded decoration. The centre of the object has a deeply moulded transverse groove, which matches a stepped boundary on the reverse, which is otherwise undecorated. A medieval (1150-1500) lead pilgrim's ampulla, incomplete in so far as the open end is a little damaged and there is a small hole at the centre of one face (both old damage). The rounded end depicts a quatrefoil on one side, the leaf-like petals formed of narrow raised ribs with a midrib and veins to either side, a raised pellet at the centre. A copper alloy Roman conical disc brooch of Hattatt's 'Tutulus' type, possibly of continental origin. The plate is circular and decorated with a band of foliate or chevron decoration between two moulded ridge borders. There is a central conical projection which terminates in a small knop. The surface shows evidence of tinning and possibly the remnants of red enamel. The reverse is flat with a stump of pin lug and an in-line catchplate. Circa 2nd century AD. A copper alloy barrel type padlock, 24.7mm in length, dating to the 12th-15th century. The lock is sub-rounded in plan, with a hollow body and a T-shaped cross sectional profile. There are apertures at either end; one of which is T-shaped to receive the key and the other of which appears more rounded and would have housed a spring mechanism.
