Measurements: 17.24mm long (remaining diameter, slightly distorted due to post-depositional edge folding) 8.12mm wide, 0.89mm thick (not including folding, which is too delicate to measure) and 0.59g in weight.

A medieval (1250-1450) copper alloy composite strap-end, with a front and back plate and a forked spacer between. The strap-end is parallel sided with a trefoil knop at the closed end. The spacer plate is c.3/4 of the length of the front and back plates, from the trefoil knop and stopping short of the open end. The space between the front and back plates here contains organic matter, probably from the original strap. Traces of a single rivet are evident at the centre of both ends.

Description: The thimble is a high cast beehive conical shape with a wide plain basal zone with a slight rim at the base prior to the indented outer wall of the thimble. A small medieval, copper alloy, strap slide, for holding down the free end of a strap (c. 1300 - 1400). It is stirrup shaped and would have been fixed to the strap by a small rivet at the centre of its straight edge, which is still extant. This edge of the frame is rectangular in section. Opposite this is a small collared, elongated and undecorated knob. The two curving parts are D- shaped in cross-section. Length 19.5 mm, Width 13.8 mm, Thickness 2.7 mm, Weight 1.45 g.

A copper alloy, forked spacer from a medieval composite strap end, c. 1300 - 1400. The two prongs have lost their tips and are bent slightly out of shape, they would originally have formed a U-shape. Above this is a broad, flat section, which in turn curves round to form shoulders, before terminating in an elongated acorn-shaped knob. Both the acorn and the knob in which it sits are decorated. See SUR-A38DCS, NARC-CEBC8F, HAMP-4A84A4. Overall, the object measures 34.0 mm long, 13.6 mm wide and 4.8 mm thick. It weighs 4.58 g.

A complete cast copper-alloy bar mount dating to the Medieval period, c. 1150-1400. It demonstrates a domed circular body, protruding from each end of which is a prominent circular knop with a central rivet aperture at the centre of each-the rivets still surviving in-situ. The upper face of the mount's main body is decorated with incised cross-hatched decoration. Preserved in good condition with an even greenish grey patina, it measures 19.15mm in length, 9.32mm wide by 2.72mm thick at the midpoint of the body, and weighs 1.66g.
