A fragmentary sheet metal copper-alloy repousse pendant dating to the Early Medieval period, probably c. 900-1000 AD. Slightly less than half the body of the original pendant survives complete, the missing part broken away irregularly in old damage. It would originally have been circular in plan, probably with a circular aperture punched through one edge. The pendant demonstrates an ornate design consisting a double outer border of closely spaced raised pellets, within which is a fantastical animal facing left, its head curving round over its back as if to look behind itself. An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. The plate is missing, though the frame and pin are preserved intact. The frame itself is single-looped, being 'D' shaped in plan with a thickened/heavily canted outer edge, the latter demonstrating cast symmetrical tendrilled motifs and traces of gilding. The strap-bar is offset and knopped at its terminals, the wound-wire pin still loosely wrapped around the bar. An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch of Colchester type dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. AD 25-60.
