A post-Medieval Copper alloy Jetton of Nuremberg type. The obverse depicts the arms of France (crowned square topped shield, three lis) within a wreath. The legend MEMENTO/SAN AVIA:ET:ON:IS: surrounds the wreath. The reverse depicts a large square frame containing a biblical script: VERBVM/DOMINI/MANET/IN.AET/ERNVM (The word of the Lord endures forever. 1 Peter 1:24-25). A medieval, silver, cut halfpenny of John, London mint, moneyer Ilger, class 5c. Description: The coin is in good condition. The X in REX on the obverse is a flattened saltire made up of four wedges, typical of a class 5c coin. The coin has not been cut exactly along the line of the void in the reverse cross but slightly off-centre. Measurements: Diameter 16.28mm: Weight 0.48g. Discussion: The off-centre cut may indicate that the coin was cut whilst in circulation rather than at the mint. Ilger only worked at the London mint.

Ceramic sherd of late Iron Age or early Roman date (c. 100 BC - 100 AD). Transverse grooves betray the vessel to be wheel-made with stamped decoration. The sherd comes from the body of the vessel and has a slight curve; all edges are broken in worn, abraded breaks. The stamped decoration consists of three lines of vertical grooves running horizontally across the sherd. The fabric is hard and light brown in colour throughout. Copper-alloy fragment from a tumbrel or folding coin balance of medieval date (c. 1300 - 1450 AD). The object is broadly rectangular in plan. Its curved upper face terminates at one end in a stylized animal head, with a rounded head, flat snout and indented, circular eyes. The other end has a rectangular depression. A similar rectangular depression runs along the back face of the object, from beneath an instepped rectangular section to the bottom of the zoomorphic head. Broken segment of a larger tool, probably a side and end scraper of Neolithic date, c.4000-2000 BC. It was formed on a large blade of dark grey tanslucent flint. The proximal end and the right edge (seen from the ventral face with proximal end downwards) is entirely missing to a long break. Impact scars on the ventral in the middle of this break may suggest it was deliberate or may be the result of post deposition impact, sone removals from it on the dorsal face may be accidental damage. Distal section of a tertiary flint blade, probably of Mesolithic date, c. 8300 to 3500 BC. The proximal end and the bulb of percussion are missing. The break is irregular with a hinge fracture and irregular breaks on the back; there are possible evidence of retouch on the front but it may be damage rather than deliberate breaking. There is a second retouched notch however about half the way down where the flint changes from translucent grey to opaque buff-grey.
