Copper alloy mount fragment. Cast fragment from a trefoil mount with a central aperture of diameter 5.3mm-4.2mm, wider where it is countersunk ?behind, and with two similar partial apertures to either side. Probably part of a fleur de lis or an arched pendent form; the holes are probably part of an openwork design rather than fixing points. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1400.
