Copper alloy dress hook or hooked tag, of Read Class E Type 2, as kindly identified by the finder. A straight-sided tag with a rectangular loop incorporated in the design of an openwork plate, which features two transverse bars with a pair of devices resembling heraldic ermine tails between them. A collar flanked by knops divides the plate from a short backward-pointing hook whose tip is lost. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600. Length: 27.9mm, Width: 15.1mm, Thickness (at collar): 1.9mm, Weight: 1.87gms

A cast concavo-convex plate with a trapezoid loop above; the hook is lost. The plate bears a moulded floral design resembling a Tudor rose. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600. Length: 21.5mm, Width: 15.3mm, Thickness: 1.4mm, Weight: 2.06gms
