A copper-alloy unidentified object of possible post-Medieval date (c. 1500-c. 1800). This object is oval in plan and irregular in cross-section. The sides are largely flat and the edges are multi-bevelled. The inner face is flat and straight. There are two projections, one at each end. One of the projections is bevelled and the other is smooth and plain. There is no indication of a break. The object has a dark green patina. Length: 27.4mm; width: 21.4mm; thickness: 9.0mm. Weight: 11.58g.

An incomplete, clipped and worn Medieval silver penny of Edward IV (1471-1483), minted at York and probably dating to the period c. 1472-1476. No marks by bust, so probably a cede vacant issue (North 1991: 94, refs: 1647 or 1651). Obverse: [ ]; Crowned bust facing, no marks by bust.
