Fragment of post medieval copper alloy dress hook of Read's (2008) Class E, Type 3, dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1650. The attachment loop and the hook are both missing. The plate is circular with a large chip removed form the central plate. It exhibits a moulded beaded border and an mouldedconsisting of a plain cross surrounded by a series of moulded pellets and drilled blind holes. The reverse is flat. See: Read, B, 2008, p. 99.

The plate is circular with adiagonal break along one edge. It exhibits a moulded beaded border and an openwork design consisting of a cross fleury surrounded by a series of moulded pellets and drilled circular apertures. On one edge of the plate is a moulded rectangular collar forming the junction between the plate and the missing hook. See: Read, B, 2008, p. 99.

A Class D early post-medieval ( examples 254-256 according to Read 2008 p. 76-77) clothing or dress hook of silver gilt composed of three distinct pieces; a decorated rounded triangular plate, an attached hook and a small loop, also attached. The triangular section is decorated with three large raised bosses, each surrounded by a now worn twist border. Four smaller pellets are arranged between and centrally to form the points of crudely equilateral triangle, with the central one being roughly at the centre of the plate.
