~~Rectangular buckle plate that is constructed from a copper alloy sheet that has been folded in half in order to be wrapped around the strap bar of a buckle. The rectangular face plate is decorated with three latitudinal chevrons formed from a line of stamped dots. This surface is also gilded. In the centre of the face plate is a single copper alloy domed rivet. The centre of the folded end has a slot for the buckle pin; the sides of the fold are notched to accommodate the arms of the buckle, this extends round the back to a smaller semi-circular back plate.

The object is a rod of copper alloy,sub- circular in cross-section, tapering slightly at one end.
