A fragment of a copper alloy Roman finger ring, circa 1st to early 3rd century AD. The bezel is flat and oval, 15.3mm long by 12.4mm wide and contains what appears to be a melted remnant of a white metal inlay. The bezel sits flush to the shoulders, which are wide and undecorated aside from an incised line forming a border to the bezel. The surface of the ring is damaged and largely lost. The hoop, which has a plano convex cross section and an internal diameter of 18mm, has broken in antiquity just below each of the shoulders. Cf Guiraud type 2d.

A large copper alloy Iron Age enamelled crescentic terret, measuring 89.9mm by 80.2mm. The ring has a maximum internal diameter of 62.3mm and terminates in a pair of roundels 24.2mm in diameter which form parallel in-line collars to a convex and trapezoidal attachment bar. The flattened ring of the terret is decorated with elaborate 'S' shape or La Tene style scrolls conjoined into a moustache-like motif, set against an inlaid ground of red enamel. This design is comparable with the designs found on other examples of flat-ring terrets (e.g. NMS-30AC24 and NMS-6599B4). The…

A copper alloy post medieval scabbard fitting, or scabbard locket, 38.0mm long by 33.9mm wide. The object has a flared open end and a crushed end which would have fitted onto the top / open end of a scabbard. There are two moulded ridges around the object, one at the mid point (7.4mm in width) and one at the crushed end. There is no other decoration.
