A cast lead steelyard weight, probably of Roman date (AD 43 -410). In form, the weight is a truncated cone, although much dented and flattened on one side. From the upper surface two stubs of ferrous wire protrude, the remains of a suspension loop. The weight has a light cream patina. Diameter is 31.76 mm, height 41.5 mm, weight is 237.6 g

A post-medieval lead bag tag disc fragment. On one side is an incomplete struck design of a heart-shape headed by a large T; inside the heart are the letters R o T. The reverse has no decoration. Weight 2.1g, diameter 12.7mm, thickness 2.9mm.

A complete cast lead spindle whorl dating from the medieval period (c. 1100-1500). The spindle whorl is bi-conical in shape, with a broad circumferential rim. There is a circular perforation (still filled with deposition residue) extending vertically through the centre, 9.2 mm diameter. All surfaces are worn, heavily patinated and dented, probably from chewing by grazing animals. Some decoration can be seen in the form of raised lines and pellets.

A complete lead token dating to the Late Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1450 - 1700). On the face the token has a design of raised lines radiating from the centre. The reverse is covered by a cross-hatch design of raised line. The object has a light grey patina. A token of similar style has been recorded on the PAS database: SUR-BF338F. The overall dimensions are as follows: 24.01mm in diameter, 2mm in thickness and 7.88g in weight.. The token may have been issued to farm workers to exchange for goods.

Medieval to Post Medieval (13th to 17th centuries) pendant crosses: There are two crosses, both of are complete.
1. The cross is a plain cross with one arm with a small perforation at a terminal. Both faces are undecorated and a mottled with a light-grey to cream coloured surface. The cross measures 25.66mm long, 26.71mm wide, 3.91mm thick and weighs 10.14g.
2. The cross is a long cross with the terminal of the long arm having an small perforation which is incomplete. The cross is slightly bent with the short arms curving inwards. The cross measures 30.93mm long, 22.5mm wide, 4.…

Post Medieval cast lead human head, probably a knob handle from the lid of a tobacco jar. The face is three dimensional and is 24mm high and 16.76mm thick. It is in fair condition. The knop depicts a youthful male with right curls, with head angled slightly to his right. Below the neck the object flares out and has a slightly convex underside. There are several database records of lead heads from 17th- or 18th-century tobacco jars. They usually depict African males, but this example appears European, possibly classical style.
