An incomplete silver penny of the Medieval period from the reign of Edward I, AD1272-1307.
Obverse description: Crowned head facing.
Obverese inscription: EDW R ANGL DNS hYB.
Reverse description: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter dividing legend.
Reverse inscription: CIVI TAS LIN COL
The coin is in a fair condition with some wear on both faces especially the obverse. It has probably been clipped between 6 and 9 o'clock.
