Copper alloy and iron buckle. Cast D-shaped buckle frame of oval or lentoid section, with a narrowed round-section strap bar retaining an iron pin. Under low magnification, it appears the iron pin may retain or preserve traces of textile. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1500. Length: 28.3mm, Height: 30.4mm, Thickness (frame): 3.5mm, Weight: 8.44gms
