An early to middle Neolithic ovate 'laurel leaf like' knife, dating from the period c. 3500-2900 BC. The tool is formed on a mid-orange yellow mottled coloured pieced coarse 'local flint'. In plan the flake is a pointed oval or cordate shape and in cross section it is broadly sub-oval (D-shaped). The tool is formed on a broad blade like flake; the ventral face shows conchoidal ridges and the blade has been struck from a prepared core. The upper / dorsal face shows two parallel ridges. A complete ground stone axehead of late Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2300 BC. The axehead is sub-ovate in plan, narrower at the butt end with a rounded curve to the cutting edge. It has an ovate section. The butt end and cutting edge are damaged, the latter more so. The unpolished nature of the object suggests it was not properly finished. Gabroic, coarse grained, with mica inclusions. The axehead is 99.1mm long, 62.6mm to 39.7mm wide, 37.6mm thick and weighs 400g.

It has a facetted ovate section with squared off sides. The butt end and cutting edge are damaged. Dolerite, fine grained. A complete stone axehead of late Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2300 BC. The axehead is sub-ovate in plan, widest at the centre and curving to either end with the butt narrower than the cutting edge. It has an oval section. Gabroic, coarse grained, with mica inclusions. The axehead is c.223mm long, 53.8mm to 69mm to 21.1mm wide, 41.2mm thick and weighs 955g.

Possible Neolithic axe rough-out, in very fresh condition and unpatinated, of dark grey slightly mottled flint with pale grey coarse inclusions, with three small patches of thin, white cortex to the dorsal face.
