A fragment of iron wedge riveted mail armour, dating from the 12th- early 16th century. Most of rings retain their mobility and have not corroded together, The fragment consists of 50 rings. While wedge riveting is predominant from the later 15th century, the ring size and quality would suggest a 16th century date for this fragment. A. complete transverse arrow head Chisel type dating from the Late Neolithic to early Bronze Age: c. 2500-1800BC. The arrowhead is triangular in plan. The dorsal surface is flat and ventral surface is slightly convex. The flint is light grey with two areas of cortex on the tranchet edge. A complete copper-alloy harness pendant of medieval date, AD 1245 - 1296. The pendant is shield shaped with an integral suspension loop projecting centrally from the upper edge. Post Medieval trade token farthing of Bridgwater, Somerset. Williamson No. 48. Trade tokens were issued between 1648 and 1672 at a time when there was little low denomination coinage being issued by the crown. As a result traders and business proprietors began issuing tokens as an alternate coinage with equivalent denominations of a farthing, half penny or penny. Such trade tokens rarely travel far from their place of issue and provide an insight to the trade of the time. A cast and inscribed silver annular brooch of later medieval date. Description: The brooch has circular frame, with a broad band and a flat rectangular cross-section. It has a very short and narrow recess to hold the pin and a slight indent on the other side to rest the pin in. The pin rest appears to have been added later as it appears to have obliterated part of the inscription which decorates the frame. An incomplete copper alloy lock pin dating to the Roman period (AD 43 - AD 410). The lock pin consists of a circular-sectioned head with a slightly concave top, at the centre of which is a raised conical boss. The base of the head is missing the shaft, but the remains of a circular outline can be seen. The metal is uneven and mid green in colour. It is constructed from a piece of sheet silver bent into a V-shape with a rectangular/ sub-oval cross-section, with a solid knop at the apex.
