An incomplete copper-alloy brooch or buckle pin of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1400. The pin is sub-rectangular in plan with a square section. One end is curved into an open ovate loop where it would have fitted around the frame. From the loop the pin tapers to a worn break. Three transverse ridges are present at the junction of the loop and pin proper. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The pin is 26.1mm long, 4.4mm wide, 5.1mm thick and weighs 3.6g. An incomplete cast copper alloy candle holder dating to the post medieval period. Only the upper socket has survived, which would have originally held the candle. The socket is a hollow cylinder, expanding slightly towards the upper end into a thick rim. There are two square holes in the sides situated opposite each other. Below the holes, there is thick circumferencial moulding followed by a thinner collar. The lower end terminates in a worn break, where a shaft would have extended. The metal is dark green and worn. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1450. All that remains is one plate of a sub-rectangular box plate. Four rivets are retained; one at each corner of the plate, and it appears undecorated. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 22.4mm long, 31.9mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 7.7g. Similar, though more complete examples can be seen on the PAS database as YORYM-E1BBFE, YORYM-2AA5B4, YORYM-4518BA, YORYM-739378, YORYM-0E7C63, YORYM-23C8D1, CORN-D7ECF6 and SUR-CCD3D5.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1400. The buckle is a single loop sub-oval with an expanded outer edge and a narrowed and offset strap bar. The expanded end has a central transverse groove which likely acted as a rest for the pin. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 15.2mm long, 13.1mm wide, 3.1mm thick and weighs 1.6g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.27, no.137 and is dated to circa AD 1350 - 1400. Ref: Whitehead, R. (1996). From the opposite side of the loop two arms of an integral forked spacer extend, each terminating in a worn break. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 18.4mm long, 15.2mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 1.1g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.37, no.216 and is dated to circa AD 1350 - 1450. Ref: Whitehead, R. (1996). Copper alloy brooch. Cast trumpet brooch, Mackreth type TR 1.a3. A plain trumpet head with outer border bears a central cast hinged pin. This protrudes from between the four coils of a spring with a chord tucked under it behind the head. A damaged post-Medieval copper coin, an Irish St. Patricks farthing, issued under Charles II (AD 1645 - 1685), dating from AD 1674 - 1680. This token coinage was issued in Ireland, but little is known about them. After AD 1681, a large number were taken to New Jersey and allowed to circulate officially there. They also circulated in the Isle of Man. See Spink (2003) Coins of Scotland, Ireland and the Islands number 6569 - 6572 on page 165. It is 22.9mm in diameter and 1.8mm thick. It weighs 3.51gm. A complete knapped lithic barbed and tanged arrowhead of early Bronze Age date, c.2300 -1600 BC. The arrowhead is formed from a tertiary flake of white/grey flint which is bi-facially worked with covering, low angled removals on all surfaces. It is triangular in plan with two shallow notches in the base between the central tang and a barb to either side. Conygar Hill Type. The arrowhead is 44.7mm long, 35.1mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 4.8g.
