Copper alloy key fragment. Ornate cast cruciform bow from a rotary key, broken across a rounded moulding dividing bow from stem; the stem was hollow. Drilled holes appear in the three rounded terminals to the cross arms, and there is a rhomboid aperture which they surround. A slight distortion may hint at bending of the stem before it broke. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1900.
