A silver Medieval coin; a Continental imitation penny (pollard) of Arnold V, Count of Looz/Loon (AD 1279-1323) dating from AD 1282 - 1294. Probably Mayhew number 62 (certainly number 60 - 73). Mint of Hasselt (possibly). The coin is 18.7mm diameter, 0.6mm thick and 1.1g. Compare examples on https://www.sterlingimitations.com/arnoldvoflooz.html, WMID-CD6B1E and SUSS-F17044. The stop in the obverse legend is a double pierced flower.
